Harshal Madan

Founder & Managing Partner

Harshal Madan is the Founder of ShriVara Law Offices and has over 12 years of experience across capital markets, regulatory advisory, transaction support and general corporate matters.

He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree, is a commerce graduate, and is also a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). Through ShriVara Law Offices, he seeks to deliver focused, practical and dependable legal support, with a strong emphasis on capital markets, regulatory matters and corporate advisory.

Harshal began his professional career as a Company Secretary, where he was involved i compliance and secretarial matters. He was thereafter associated with M. V. Kini Law Firm, where he worked on and led several equity and debt capital markets transactions, including municipal bond issuances, while also handling general corporate advisory assignments.

In 2020, he joined the Debt Capital Markets team at SBI Capital Markets Limited, where he gained significant experience in the debt capital markets space and worked on a range of complex transactions, including municipal bonds, InvITs, listed and unlisted debt issuances,public issues and private placements. He was thereafter associated with Zenith India Lawyers as Partner – Capital Markets and General Corporate, where he continued to lead and advise on a wide range of equity and debt capital markets transactions, allied regulatory matters and general corporate advisory engagements. His diverse professional experience has equipped him with a strong understanding of capital markets, particularly in relation to public issuances of equity and debt securities, private placements of debt securities, municipal bond transactions and InvIT-related issuances. He is known for his practical approach, strong execution capabilities and ability to provide commercially aligned legal solutions.

Gunjan Mittal

Partner

Gunjan is a Partner at ShriVara Law Offices and brings with her significant experience in corporate litigation, regulatory proceedings, corporate secretarial compliances and dispute resolution. Her practice is shaped by a strong combination of regulatory, advisory and contentious experience, enabling her to provide clients with solutions that are legally sound, strategically focused and commercially practical.

Gunjan completed her LL.B from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Taxation from the Indian Law Institute, Delhi. She is also a qualified Company Secretary from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and a Resolution Professional.

Prior to joining private practice, she worked with the Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO), the investigative arm of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, where she was involved in the investigation and prosecution process relating to significant corporate fraud matters. She has also worked alongside senior counsels, which has further strengthened her experience in corporate prosecution, regulatory matters and complex dispute resolution.Drawing from her regulatory and court-based experience, Gunjan advises and represents clients across a broad spectrum of contentious and compliance-related matters. Her experience spans appearances and matters before various High Courts, National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT), Securities Appellate Tribunal (SAT), Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Appellate Tribunal for NBFCs, Regional Director, SFIO, and other judicial, quasi-judicial and regulatory forums across India.
